hi leute

ich verwende eine informix db mit zugriff über ein php script....

nun erstelle ich einen datensatz in der datenbank und setze den wert "" für das feld geburtstag....

wenn ich mir die datenbank aber mit dem befehl show_list anschaue (dieser befehl ruft die komplette db auf und zeigt eine kompl. tabelle mit inhalt der db) stehen in allen datensätzen bei geburtsdatum der 01.01.1970 obwohl ich noch nie irgendwelche geburtsdaten in der datenbank vermerkt habe und deshalb eingetlich bei allen feldern "" bzw halt [nichts]erscheinen müsste .

wenn ich auf die datenbank mit meiner meiner emulation und dbaccess zugreife werden die felder als leer dargestellt.,...

also muesste das prob beim php begraben sein...
