SD-RAM <---> DDR-RAM wo liegt der Unterschied ?!?

Tag Leute,

kann mir mal einer Sagen, wo der unterschied zwischen SD-RAM und DDR-RAM liegt. Ist DDR-RAM schneller ???

Und mal eine Andere Frage, ich habe eine PC mit 256 MB Ram und ich würde gerne auf 512 MB bzw. 768 MB Aufrüsten. Die 256 MB die im Rechner stecken, sind Noname. Werden die alten bausteine von neuen untergesetzt ??? Oder ist das egal ?!?

Hi,

ja ud hast recht, DDR-RAM ist schneller, heisst ja auch "Double Data Rate". Der DDR-RAM ist die nächste Entwicklungsstufe von SDRAM. Durch die Nutzung beider Taktflanken(aufsteigend und abfallend) wird eine Bandbreitenverdopplung erreicht.
