Borland Compiler .exe und Editor gesucht (war: Programmier - Newbee - need help)

ich bin ein totaler programmier-einsteiger.

ich habe mir den borland compiler runtergeladen 5.5.

ich finde bloss keine exe datei o.s. wo ich das starten kann.

ich suche noch einen guten , kostenlsoen editor für c++

compiler, editor, was brauche ich noch ??!

als editor kann ich vim empfehlen

meine frage lautet konkret:

1. ich schreibe den quellcode in dem editor (ultraedit)

2. dann ????

3. ich betätige den compiler ( borland 5.5 ) wie ????!

4. danach ? => .exe ?!?!
