CONVERT int klappt nicht

Hallo !

Ich zähle mit " select count(distinct (c_ip)) as zugriffe" die täglichen Zugriffe auf eine Intranetseite. Diese gebe ich in einer Tabelle für einen ganzen Monat aus, wobei natürlich jedem "zugriff" das jeweilige Datum zugeordnet wird. Nun will ich alle täglichen Zugriffe zusammenzählen (für den Durchschnitt). Da das Feld c_ip ein varchar-Typ ist geht dieses nicht mit SUM oder AVG in meinem Select.

Weiterhin ist es nicht möglich mit einem CONVERT das c_ip-Feld in ein int zu konvertieren - ich nehme an es liegt an den IP's (217.98.105.125). Gibt es da in SQL noch irgendeine andere Lösung, oder kann man die einzelnen täglichen Zugriffe anders addieren ??

Hat da jemand eine Idde ??

Nimm doch einfach das distinct weg, dass die Mehrfacheinträge filtert.
