Hallo,

ich möchte ein kleines Servlet schreiben das den Status einzelner Rechner angibt.

Ich möchte prüfen ob z.b. auf Server1 Apache und Tomcat und die Datenbank (Oracle) läuft bzw. nicht läuft.

Also wenn ich die Seite dann mal im Webbrowser aufrufe, das mir angezeigt wird:

Server: Servername

Tomcat: läuft/läuft nicht (jenachdem)

Apache: läuft/läuft nicht (")

Datenbank: läuft/läuft nicht (")

Server: Servername

Tomcat: läuft/läuft nicht (jenachdem)

Apache: läuft/läuft nicht (")

usw.

Wie mach ich das am Besten?

Wäre nett wenn mir einer nen Tip verraten würde.

Hi,

einfach versuchen einen Socket auf dem entsprechenden Port zu öffnen. Klappt das, ist der Dienst online.
