Unbekanntes Gerät im Gerätemanager

Hallo Forum

Bei einem Windows 2000 SP3-Rechner erscheint im Gerätemanager ein unbekanntes Gerät "PCI-Kommunikationskontroller (einfach)". Es ist keine Netzwerkkarte eingebaut, nur eine AVM Fritzcard PCI, die auch richtig installiert wurde. Ach ja, es ist ein Elitegroup P6ISA-II Mainboard mit P3-700, USB on board,Sound on board (AC-97).

Weiterhin ist der USB-ROOt und die PCI-Bridge im Gerätemanager installiert.

Was kann das denn alles sein? Wahrscheinlich irgendein on board-Chip??

hast du schon mal im Bios nachgekuckt ob da Lan on Board oder Modem oder sowas aktiviert ist?

im BIOS war Modem-on-board aktiviert. Danke, jetzt ist es weg. :)
