automatische Internetverbindung nicht mehr automatisch :(

Ich hab seit einiger Zeit das Problem, dass meine automatische Internetverbindung (so von wegen iexplore will ins netz und w2k wählt sich automatisch ein) nicht mehr richtig funktioniert. Im Explorer ist das so, dass ich das einwahlfenster bekomme mit der Frage "Einwählen?" die checkbox automatsch einwählen ist deaktiviert. aktiviere ich sie, kommt beim nächsten Windoof-Start eben beschriebenes fenster (er wählt sich also nicht automatisch ein)

Aktiviere ich die Checkbox, dann öffnet sich das Einwahlfenster garnicht erst, sondern ich muss mich selbst einwählen.

Kann mir das jemand erklären?

Will momentan nicht mein System neu installieren und suche also eine andere Lösung..
