Hallo zusammen,

kriege auf die folgende Eingabe:

alter table TABELLENNAE alter column SPALTENNAME set data type varchar(

255)

folgende Ausgabe:

DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a

valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:

SQL0190N In table "SPALTENNAME", column "TABELLENNAME" cannot be altered

because the data type or length of the existing column is incompatible.

SQLSTATE=42837

Weiss jemand den Fehler, bzw. das richtige SQL?
