Gigabyte GA-6VX7-4X mit Apollo Chipsatz, Pentium III 800MHz, 64MB SDRAM, 20GB HDD, 32 MB nVidia TNT2-M64, internes Modem: ELSA MicroLink 56k PCI HCF EU

Win 98 SE

Funzte alles wunderbar bis Win 98 SE Neuinstallation.

Jetzt habe ich folgendes Problem:

Nach Neuinstallation des BS (98SE) wird das Modem erkannt, die Treiber auch installiert aber das Modem funzt nich mehr in dem Rechner.

Auf einer NT4 WS funtz sie aber!!

So was mach ich nu??????

bitte bitte helft mir (iss der Rechner vom Chef)

welches fehlerbild?

afaik liegt das modem dann auf einem virtuellen comport. dort alles korrekt eingetragen?

also Modem ist auf COM 3, wenn ich es ansprechen will heißt es immer Com kann nicht geöffnet werden.
