Hi,

ich will über meinen Proxyserver Warcraft3 spielen. Nur leider unterstützt Warcraft keine Proxys. Kann man das irgendwie hinbiegen, das es trotzdem funktioniert???

Ich hab nen Windows2000 Rechner als Server und nutze als proxy den Jana-Server.

JanaServer 2 ist keine Router- oder NAT- (Network Address Translation) Software, so dass Programme die keine Proxy / Firewall Einstellungen haben, nicht direkt ins Netz können, da keine Ports freigeschaltet werden können. Dies betrifft hauptsächlich Spiele, und Audio-/ Videosoftware, die über das Internet funktionieren. Manche dieser Programme lassen sich per Sockscap oder den Socks-Client von Hummingbird dazu bewegen, zu funktionieren.

Probiere die angesprochenen Programme SocksCap bzw. Socks-Client aus.

Andere Moeglichkeiten gibt es nicht.;)
