Wenn's ein Stück Software ist lässt sich das CIIW immer irgendwie deinstallieren. Wenn's um Hardware geht, reicht es IMHO in der Systemsteuerung->System->Hardware->Gerätemanager das Modem zu deaktivieren. (Rechte Maustaste, Eigenschaften, ...).

Aber, da ich keine Kristallkugel [TM] habe, wäre es gut, wenn Du deine Konfiguration (OS, Modemtyp, usw.) angeben würdest.

(Dazu kannst Du auch Aida32 nutzen, ein Freewaretool das dass System ausliest und die Information in div. Berichten ausgibt. -> siehe Thread im Anwendungsforum oder www.aida32.hu)
