hoi

habe ein kleines Problem, hab einen Scanner gekauft, mit paraleller und USB-Schnittstelle. Hab einen alten 166mhz Rechner mit Windows 98 und schlies ihn hier über das Paralellkabel an. danach hab ich die Software installiert. Doch wenn ich das Scanprogramm starte, kommt die Meldung: "Scanner konnte nicht initialisiert werden Scanner nicht auffindbar"

an was kann das liegen???

weiß nicht mehr was ich tun soll!

was für einen scanner?

was für ein mainboard?

steht im bios der paralell-mode auf mindestens bidirektional oder EPP / ECP? damit sollte das laufen.

Hast du den Scanner direkt an die parallele Schnittstelle angeschlossen, oder hängt da noch ein Drucker mit dran. Falls du diese "Durchschlaufgeschichte" anegschlossen hast (sprich - Drucker und Scanner an einem Port) mach den Drucken mal ab und probiere es erneut. Ich hatte auch mal so ein Problem unter Windows 95.
