Hi, ich bin FiSi im 3. LJ und arbeite gerade in einem Schulungsnetzwerk. Ich habe dort einen Windows NT4.0 PDC unc Client. Auf dem Server habe ich MS Exchange Server 5.0 und auf dem Client Outlook 97 aus dem Office Paket installiert.

Wie bekomme ich es nun hin, dass ich Emails senden und empfangen kann? Ich habe im Server bereits Empfängerkonten eingestellt. Bei Outlook wird ständig nach einem Postoffice gefragt. Hmm.

Wir haben die Software hier aus einem Select-Vertrag, daher ist das beigelegte Dokumentationsmaterial / Handbuch mehr schlecht als recht.

Wer von Euch hat Erfahrung in der Materie und kann mir helfen und Tips / Ressourcen geben?

Du kannst das Outlook über die Systemsteuerung -> Mail konfigurieren:

Einfach ein neues Profil anlegen und "Microsoft Exchange Server" als Dienst installieren.
