Hallo!

Ich bin grade dabei eine Adminstrative Installation für Office XP anzulegen.

Dabei möchte ich auch ServicePack1 und 2 einspielen bzw. die Installation an sich Updaten.

(oxpsp1a.exe und oxpsp2a.exe angewandt auf die std.msi; laut Installationsprogramm: erfolgreich)

An dem Datum und der Größe der std.msi erkennt man, dass die Datei geändert wurde. Wenn ich jedoch nach der Installation die Version bestimmter Dateien überprüfe wird die alte Versionnr. angezeigt!

Woran liegt das? Habe ich jetzt den Stand von ServicePack 2 oder nicht?

(Installation erfolgte auf verschiedenen Rechnern mit Win2k / Win98)

Es gibt von Microsoft in der TechNet einen Artikel mit der Nummer Q325671 , in welchem steht, wie man am besten vorgeht.
