Outlook Express speichert PAsswort nicht

Hi, bei dem Outlook Express 6 kann man doch unter der Registerkarte Server (Extras>Konton>Kontoeigenschaft>Server) das verwendete Pop3-Passwort eingeben und das Kontrollkästechen "Passwort speichern" markieren

Bei mir holt sich der Outlook Express 6 die Mails von einem Proxy mit MDAEMON ab.

Der User wird über nen Novell-Client als lokaler Administrator angemeldet.

Obwohl die Option "PAsswort speichern" aktiviert ist, muss bei jedem Mailpolling erneut für jedes Konto das Passwort eingegeben werden. ?!?!?!?!?!?

Das eingegebene Kennwort bei KOntoeigenschaften ist richtig, und im MDAEMON auch hinterlegt. Rechteproblem kann ich auch ausschliessen weil lokaler Administrator.

PS mit Outlook Express 4 lief es in dieser Konstellation einwandfrei.
