Moin,

also ich habe jetzt versucht die 4.0.13 und die 3.23.56 Versionen von MySQL unter Windows 2003 Enterprise Server zum laufen zu kriegen - vergebens.

winmysqladmin startet mit einer Fehlermeldung, dann passiert nix. Das Programm ist gestartet, Lampe leuchtet grün aber der Server ist nicht gestartet. Weiß einer Abhilfe?

-kannst du den Datenbank Dienst von Hand starten?

-geht ein ping localhost?

-Hast du zum testen eine möglicherweise vorhandene Firewall deaktiviert?
