HI @all,

kann mir mal jemand den Unterschied zwischen SSH1 und SSH2 nennen ?

Ich weiß nur, dass SSH1 die RSA verschlüsselung benutzt und das SSH2 die DSA Verschlüsselung benuzt.

der wichtigste unterschied ist wohl, dass man ssh1 mit ner man in the middle attacke kompromittieren kann ... ssh2 nicht (afaik) ...

Richtig! SSH 1 ist einfach viel zu unsicher um es noch zu verwenden. Was jetzt detailierte Unterschiede zwischen den beiden angeht, solltest du mal die Website besuchen und die Announcemeldung zu 2 lesen, da stehts sicher drin.

ssh1 setzt auf rsa Authentizierung

und

ssh2 auf dsa Authentizierung. Oder net? :-)

Das ganze funktioniert nach dem System der Public und Private keys.
