php variablen ändern | php.ini

Hallo,

hab da eine Frage bezüglich Variablen ändern von PHP.

Habe mir das phpdev paket runtergeladen, da ist ja apache, php, mysql, etc... alles drin. Nun möchte ich aber in der php.ini einige Variablen ändern (zb. session.save_path, da dieser falsch ist). Wenn ich nun die php.ini in "F:\phpdev5\gtkdev\php4\" ändere uns speichere so hat sich nichts geändert an den variablen, wenn ich sie mir per "phpinfo();" anzeigen lasse.

Muss ich nachdem ich die php.ini geändert habe, irgendwie das php "neustarten" ?

Ändere ich überhaupt die Variablen in der "richtigen" php.ini ?

hat sich erledigt, hab apache etc. von hand alles selbst installiert, jetz funktioniert alles
