Arcor DSL Flat mit Redhat

Hallo erstmal,

Silent <- Linux anfänger ist. :rolleyes:

Ich habe bei mir @home Redhat Installiert (8.0 komplet, direkt danach mit 9.0 Lite Edition ein Update drübergebraten ohne zwischendurch irgendetwas wissentlich geändert zu haben :o) )

Nun möchte ich die Kisten ins Internet bringen undzwar über Arcor DSL Flat.

Ich gebe benutzername und password ein, trage bei DNS die Nameserver ein, wähle meine eth0(3Com $%&/ ), speicher alles, reboote so wie es Redhat wünscht und freue mich aufs Internet...

Problem ist nur: wenn ich versuche die xDSL ( 'ppp0' ) zu aktivieren, rödelt Redhat eine weile rum, und sagt mir dann das die verbindung nicht aktiviert werden kann...:(

hat jemand von euch etwas ähnliches durchgemacht und ne lösung für mich ??
