Hi

Ich hab das Asus P4C800 Deluxe Mainboard mit Intel 875P Chipsatz und SATA Festplatten und würde gerne Linux (SuSE 9.0) installieren.

Der "normale" Controller ist glaub ich ein ICH5 und es gibt noch einen Raid Controller von Promise (20378).

Am liebsten wäre mir der Promise Controller, aber ich wäre auch zufrieden damit, wenn ich es am Intel installiert bekomme.

Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?

das mit dem promise controller wird soweit ich weiss nichts. promise bietet keine treiber für linux (bzw. nur für alte versionen)

hab deshalb auch noch nen sauteuren sx4000 raid 5 controller in der ecke liegen
