Wirden die Spuren einer Festplatte auch Köpfe bezeichnet?

weil es in zwei büchern unterschiedlcih steht!

Hallo!

Köpfe und Spuren sind unterschiedliche Dinge. Die Spuren sind auf der Magnetplatte vorhanden und die (Schreib-/Lese-)Köpfe laufen dann in den Spuren (weil sich die Platten drehen) und schreiben bzw. lesen dort die Daten. Wenn die Daten auf der Festplatte verteilt liegen, dann müssen die Köpfe häufig die Spuren wechseln.
