Hi, ich bin neu hier uns hab mal gleich ne Frage:

Und zwar haben wir ein kleines testnetzwerk aufgebaut und sollen nun auf unserem Server ein Raid1 einrichten. Allerdings eines auf softwarebasis. Als OS haben wir WinNT4-Server laufen.

Reicht es eine 2. Partition zu machen, wo dann die Daten "gespiegelt" werden, oder braucht man eine 2.Festplatte???

Wollen das ohne Controller machen!

für ein RAID 1 brauchst du zwei Festplatten !

Die Serverbetriebssysteme von MS können alle von Haus aus Software RAID. Wie genau das geht weiss ich leider nicht.

Ich glaube man muss im Festplattenmanager die beiden HDDs markieren und dann per Rechtsklick die beiden HDDs spiegeln.

Aber so 100 % weiss ich das nicht :)
