Hi,

ich stoße z.Z. in diverser Fachliteratur immer auf den Begriff "stub".

Z.B. bei EJB, Struts oder ähnliches.

Was genau ist ein/e stub ?

Ich hab schon versucht mir einen zu googlen, brachte aber nix :(

Ich würde mich über etwas detailliertere AWs freuen.

imho frei übersetzt ein Platzhalter für ein anderes Object.

Bei RMI zum Beispiel rufst du Methoden eines lokalen Objects auf, obwohl du eigentlich ein Object auf einem entfernten Rechner ansprechen willst. Was zwischen dem lokalen Object (stub) und dem entfernten Object abläuft ist für dich unwichtig, du kannst das stub Object als entferntes Object ansehen.
