Java und Internet Explorer

Hallo!

Ich habe hier bei der Arbeit ein Problem mit Java und dem Internet Explorer. Installiert habe ich Java von Sun, JRE Version 1.4.2_3, Java-Applets auf Webseiten funktionieren jedoch nicht, sie werden nicht angezeigt und ICQ2go meldet, daß ich mir doch bitte Java installieren möchte.

Im Internet Explorer ist auch unter "Extras -> Internet Optionen -> Erweitert" der Haken bei Java (Sun) gesetzt. De- und wieder installiert habe ich das Java auch schon öfters. Alles ohne Erfolg. :(

System:

Windows XP Pro SP1

Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1...

Schau mal in Systemsteuerung->Java Plug_in, ob unter Browser Dein verwendeter Browser (IE) an ist.

Wird unter Erweitert die verwendete JRE-Version angezeigt bzw. ist diese Einstellung auf Java Plug_in Standard verwenden?
