oder das hier:

j2sdk-1_4_2_03-linux-i586.bin

Wollte Java auch mal unter Linux anwenden, leider bin ich in Linux ein anfänger.

auch das SDK hat Installationsanleitungen.

Ob du das rpm installieren kannst, hängt von deiner Distribution ab, z.b. Suse oder RedHat.

Ich als Debian Nutzer installiere immer das bin File.

Die Installation ist hier beschrieben:
