Hallo !!!

Habe einen Athlon XP 2500+ CPU !!!!

Wie erkenne ich ohne den Prozessor auszubauen ob es sich um einen Barton handelt.

Mit dem Programm WCPUID sollte das gehen. Dort sollte dann Family, Model und Stepping mit folgendem Bild übereinstimmen.

geht auch mit Aida32. Meiner Meinung nach das beste Diagnose-Tool.

gute Programme aber keiner erwähnt das wort barton !!!

Bei meinem PC zeigt mir AIDA32 im Modul Motherboard -> CPU die Bezeichnung Barton an, das müsste das Programm bei jedem PC mit Barton-Core-CPU anzeigen.

Falls nicht, versuch' mal CPU-Z. Wenn dir dort nicht angezeigt wird dass das ein Barton ist, dann ist das wohl kein Barton, sondern ein Thoroughbred (das ist der Vorgängerkern des Bartons).
