sagt der Apache Webserver den Browser welcher Codierung er verwenden soll?

ich habe in der Firma zwei Web Server eine alten auf Windows und einen neuen auf Linux.

1 Fall) ich verbinde mich mit den alten Webserver dann verwendert der Browser die ISO 8859_1 Codierung.

2 Fall) ich verbinde mich mit den neuen Webserver dann verwendert der Browser automatisch UTF8 (UnicCod)

das wirkt sich bei den Umlauten negativ aus.

wo kann ich das bei denn Webserver ändern.
