Hallo

ich habe einen Fax-Server (www.activefax.ch) auf windows2000 pro (ADS domäne) laufen. windows und fax-software sind up-to-date .. ansonsten ist da nichts auf dem PC. es handelt sich um eine Fritzkarte. es werden logischerweise damit nur faxmaschinen angerufen und keine internetverbindung aufgebaut.

die software nimmt keine anrufe entgegen und windows2000 ist dafür auch nicht explizit eingestellt (standard settings).

ist das "sicher"?

sollte ich noch ein überwachungsprogramm für die ISDN karte installieren?

Sollen Mehrwertdienste (alias 0900-/0190-Nummern) erreichbar sein, dann ist ein 0190Warner wie z.B. YAW praktisch.

Wenn keine Mehrwertdienste erreichbar sein sollen, dann hilft eine Sperrung der 0900/0190-Nummern bei Deinem Telefonprovider, idR ist das ein einmaliger Kostenpunkt (ca. 7 Euro).
