Hallo zusammen,

ich möchte ein Datum in der Form:

01. August 2003 17:45

in einen Unix Timestamp umwandeln. PHP bietet mir ja die Funktion strtotime. Aber die versagt bei mir, weil es sich um deutsche Datumstexte handelt. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit so einen String umzuwandeln. Vorzugsweise sowohl deutsche als auch englische Monatsbezeichnungen.

hm naja,

dann halt per substr() aufsplitten und per mktime() in unix timestamp umwandeln.

musst halt noch die Monatsnamen in die dazugehörigen nummer wandeln (sprich Januar => 1, August => 8,....)

mit strtotime() haste da AFAIK keine chanche
