ich hoffe Ihr habt eine Idee zu meinem Problem.

Wir haben hier in der Ausbildung einen Siemens Primergy 700 Server mit zusätzlichen

Raid Controller (Mylex DAC1100, 2 System Drives)

Am Adaptec 7880 hängen 2 WD HDD und das CD-ROM

CD Boot funktioniert -> Es kommt das Auswahlmenü.

Aber egal ob Manuelle, Fail Safe oder normale Installation sofort nach dem laden vom Kernel hängt sich die Kiste auf (Schwarzer Bildschirm mit blinkendem Strich). :rolleyes:

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit ein Protokoll anzeigen zu lassen?

Hallo,

wird der Mylex-Controller beim Booten erkannt und die daran hängenden Platten? Ich hatte ebenfalls mit einer Siemens-Maschine und einem Mylex-Controller ein ähliches Problem. Dies lies sich durch das Laden der Mylex-Treiber (die nicht per Default geladen wurden) beheben.
