Hallo zusammen,

wie kann ich unter Linux leere Dateien mit einer Größe von z.B. 1 GB erstellen?

dd if=/dev/zero of=./test.txt bs=8k count=10000

erzeugt eine mit "0"en gefüllte Datei der Größe 80MB.

Jetzt nur noch BlockSize und Count ändern und du hast deine 1GB-Datei.

damit das ganze flink wird, möglichst grosse blocksize verwenden.
