Ich habe mal eine Frage zum Raid 5

Ich habe in einen Server einen Raid5 SCSI Controller eingebaut.

Müssen die dort angeschlossenen drei Festplatten alle gleich groß sein?

Oder dürfen die unterschiedlich groß sein?

Optimal ist wenn alle gleich groß sind und sogar vom gleichen Hersteller/Typ.

Aber du kannst natürlich auch Mischen.

Dann heisst die Devise, die kleinste/langsamste Platte gibt den Ton an!
