Mein Problem:

aus einem HTML Formular wird ein Text übergeben, der Sonderzeichen enthält (z.B. Anführungsstriche)

HTML Formular ->

<textarea name="main_text" cols="60" rows="30" id="main_text"></textarea>

die Variable "main_text" enthält eine aktuelle "Heise.de"- Zeile:

->Mit "Transistor Sister" feierte Freddy Cannon die Anfänge.

und da ist auch schon das Problem:

Bei einem 'echo $main_text' sieht die PHP Seite wie folgt aus:

->Mit \"Transistor Sister\" feierte Freddy Cannon die Anfänge.

wie bekomme ich bei diesem Aufruf die 'Backslashes' weg?... es soll nämlich eine vorababsicht für den Benutzer sein... vielen Dank
