Eventviewer - Protokoll löschen

Hallo zusammen,

Ist es möglich ein Protokoll komplett zu löschen. Wir haben hier einen Rechner,

auf dem der SUS nicht mehr läuft, aber die Unterkategorie SUS ist noch im Eventviewer. Leider hab ich keinen Hinweis gefunden, wie man diesen nicht

mehr benötigten Eintrag löschen kann.

Deaktiviere doch mal den Dienst dann tauchen keine Meldungen mehr auf.

Der Dienst ist sogar deinstalliert, ich dachte nur das man das entsprechend auch im Eventviewer löschen kann.

Liegt halt so eine Leiche nun dort drin. Meldungen laufen dort klar keine mehr auf.

Ich hab es gefunden.

REGEDIT

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog.

Dort stehen alle Kategorien drin.
