Ist es möglich mit VB die installierten Datenbank Provider auszulesen?

Wenn ja wie?

API mäßig hab ich auch nichts gefunden.

Hab schon gegoogled und auch hier gesucht, jedoch nichts brauchbares gefunden.

meinst du damit die vorhandenen ODBC treiber auslesen oder was? :confused:

Nja, die ODBC und OLEDB Treiber halt.

Bringt denn dieser Link Dich ein bischen weiter?

Danke erstmal. Die Hälfte meiner Probleme sind schonmal gelöst.

Das Listet mir alle ODBC Datenquellen auf.

Jetzt fehlen mir aber noch die installierten OLEDB Provider.

Du könntest die Registry nach "Ole DB Provider" durchsuchen im Ast HKCR\Clsid.
