Hi!

Mein Rechner hatte ursprünglich einen 512er DDR-RAM Riegel drin (266er). Gestern habe ich einen zweiten nachgerüstet. Er erkennt im BIOS und unter Windows trotzdem nur 512 MB. Egal welchen Steckplatz ich benutze. Einzeln werden beide erkannt. Board ist von Asus, genauen Namen hab ich nicht im Kopf. Ca. 1 Jahr alt.

Woran kann das liegen?

Welches Board denn genau?

Vielleicht hast du im Bios sowas wie "DualChannel DDR-Ram" eingestellt und einer der Bausteine kommt damit nicht klar.
