Ich habe hier einen Server der unglaublich langsam reagiert ...

Da ich das komplette System schon untersucht habe und nichts gefunden habe ... hab ich eine Vermutung :

Die IDE Controller laufen auf PIO Modus ...

Hatte das mal an einer 2000 Workstation das der 2te IDE Controller im PIO lief und immer wenn ich auf die CD´s zugegriffen habe, er UNGLAUBLICHE AUSLASTUNGEN produziert hat ... Von daher meine Vermutung :

Es liegt an den Modi der IDE Cotroller

Meine Frage :

Wie bzw. wo kann ich unter WIndows NT Server nachschauen ob die IDE Controller PIO oder DMA Modus nutzen ...

Wenn das jmd. weiss wäre ich ihm sehr dankbar, wenn er mich einweihen würde, sofern das unter NT überhaupt möglich ist.
