Ich habe da ein Problem mit dem IIS und Windows 2000. Wir haben da den Mailserver mitinstalliert und versuchen nun über ein PHP Script Emails zu verschicken. Die funktioniert aber nicht, er gibt bei jedem Versuch folgende Fehlermeldung aus:

SMTP server response: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

was besagt diese Fehlermeldung und wie kann ich diese beheben??

gib die Fehlermeldung bei Google ein und Du bekommst 4990 Links, schau Sie durch.

Es gibt keine Patentlösung, einiges deutet auf POP before SMTP als Ursache hin, das bedeutet, der Mailserver ist so konfiguriert, dass er nur Mailversand zulässt, wenn Du vorher über einen gültigen POP-Account eingeloggt bist.

Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist eine fehlerhafte Konfiguration, die Mailweiterleitung verhindert, die Aussagen hierzu sind wenig schmeichelhaft:
