Hi,

für mein Abschlussprojekt plane ich einen Server mit einer guten Administrations-Software einzuführen. :confused:

Ich habe mir jetzt mal SMS und RIS ausgesucht... kennt ihr denn noch weitere nützliche Sachen die man so machen könnte?

z.B. IT-Verwaltungs-Software, Netzwerk-Management-Software usw.... wäre über viele Infos dankbar

Ich würde WhatsUp empfehlen, das Prog sendet in regemäßigen Abständen Pings durchs Netzwerk um festzustellen ob alle wichtige Komonenten im Netz noch erreichbar sind. Außerdem kann man auch Dienste einzelner Server auf ihre Erreichbarkeit prüfen. Ich finds auf jeden Fall ganz nützlich!

PS Außerdem kann man natürlich festlegen was passieren soll wenn etwas nicht erreichbar ist (Mail, SMS, Alarm usw.)
