Suse Linux 9.2 Professional erkennt den Nforc2 MCP-T Chisatz nicht

Hallo,

Ich habe mir von der Suse Seite das Image für die Suse Linux 9.2 Professional heruntergeladen und habe diese Installiert. Ich habe jetzt zwei Probleme:

1. Suse erkennt meinen Cipsatz nicht! Ich habe ein ASUS A7N8X Deluxe Mainboard mit einem Nforce 2 MCP-T Chipsatz!

2. Suse erkennt meine SATA-Festplatte nicht! Ich konnte es bislang nur auf der IDE-Festplatte Testen!

Hast du die Möglichkeit bei der Installation einen Kernel auszuwählen? Wenn ja, wähle den neuesten Kernel, den es gibt. Sry, kenn mich mit Susi nicht aus.

Ich habe nur die möglichkeit bestimmte Teile eines Kernels auszuwählen, aber nicht den kompletten Kernel. Ich habe dieses mit dem Kernel 2.6.10 ausprobiert.
