redhat 9.0 -> sendmail, sm-client probs

huhu,

habe hier ein redhat 9 system (800 mhz, 396 ram) und das starten der dienste sendmail und sm-client dauert "ewig" (> 2min), dann aber mit status OK, also korrekt.

aber wieso so langsam??? und was macht eigentlich der sm-client?

geht das auch schneller?

Ich würd jetz sagen den Dienst mal ausschalten und manuell starten ... dann kannste evtl sehen wobei er so lange braucht.
