Hallo,

zu erst einmal, ich hab die Suchfunktion benutzt, aber keine passenden Themen gefunden.

Ich bin in Perl noch ziemlicher Anfänger, also dürfte mein Problem auch relativ leicht zu lösen sein. Aus einer Datenbank bekomm ich einen String, der jedoch UTF8-kodiert ist. Wie kann ich diesen nun decoden?

Probiert hab ichs bisher mit

use utf8;

decode("utf8",$string);

hat aber nicht funktioniert, d.h. der String wurde wieder UTF8-kodiert ausgegeben.

Könnt ihr mir da weiterhelfen?
