wann nehme ich UTP, STP, S/STP, S/STO,FTP - Patchkabel???

Hi,

UTP nimmst Du vom Rechner zu Dose und vom Patchfeld zum Hub, die anderen werden fest ín der Wand verlegt. Dafür sind sie besser gegen Störeinflüsse von aussen bzw. Störungen, die die einzelnen Aderpaare untereinander verursachen, abgeschirmt.

Was schirmt eigentlich besser ab: STP oder FTP? Was ist steifer?

FTP ist flexibles Twisted Pair und damit auch flexibler als STP.
