Also ich habe folgendes problem:

Ich habe mit Hilfe von VM-Ware ein neues Linux System aufgesetzt und Knoppix 3.4 von CD gebootet.

Nun will ich es aber installieren und nicht dauernd von CD booten und da ich mich nicht wirklich gut mit Linux auskenne wollte ich fragen, ob ihr mir helfen könnt.

muss einfach als root knx-install eingeben, ein Haufen von Fragen des Systems beantworten und das war's ;)

also das war mal in der älteren Version... In den neueren gehts auf jeden fall mit "sudo knoppix-installer", dann öffnet sich ein grafisches Setup. Geht auch bei kanotix, dort einfach "sudo kanotix-installer" benutzen.
