In wie weit muss in der Projektdokumentation die Wahl der Hardwarekomponenten begründet werden?

Muss ich z. B. begründen, warum bei dem Server SAMSUNG-HDDs zum Einsatz kommen und nicht Festplatten von SEAGATE? Oder reicht vielleicht die Auflistung der verwendeten Komponenten aus?

Meine "Entscheidungskompetenzen" ;) werden doch sicher nicht durch die Tatsache erkennbar, dass ich ECC von non-ECC-RAM unterscheiden kann.

entscheidungen sind gut, aber nicht übertreiben!

... also reicht eine Auflistung der Komponenten, ohne Erläuterungen aus.
