Servus liebe Helferlein!

Ich wollte mich nur mal erkundigen ob ich eigentlich einen Scanner über einen Print-Server einrichten kann?

Beide Produkte sind von HP!

Wenn es beides HP-Produkte sind, mag es sein, daß hierfür support existiert. Mehr dazu gibt es sicher auf den HP-Webseiten.

Allgemein siehts da aber düster aus: Über die Parallel-Leitung wird z.B. ein kastriertes SCSI emuliert und auf jeden Fall ist eine bidirektionale Kommunikation erforderlich. Das mögen die meisten Printserver leider nicht. Welches Protokoll sollte das auch korrekt unterstützen? lpd? SMB?
