Hallo,

gibts ein Gerät, welches von TokenRing auf Ethernet (10BaseT) wandelt? Ich hab ein Gerät, welches Ethernet onboard hat (leider keine erweiterungsmöglichkeit) aber dort nur ein Token RIng-Netz... was kann man tun?

Ich hab schon geschaut, aber nix dolles gefunden.

Mit Bridges lässt sich das Prob lösen... Von Ethernet auf TR sollte mit der entsprechenden Bridge gehen.

cisco mit einem eth und einem tr interface oder linux-kiste mit jeweils einem interface.

empfehlen kann ich in der linuxkiste eine 3com509 mit dementsprechend gepatchtem kernel lief bei mir sauber.

aber generell stell auf eth um :)
