Hallo Kollegen,

in meiner Firma hat eine Mitarbeiterin in XP einen Fehler bei jedem Booten (auf der Desktop-Oberfläche).

"Unable to open WMI namespace. WMI initialization failed. Cannot proceed further."

Das hat doch etwas mit C++ zu tun, oder? Das wird dann wahrscheinlich ein eigenens Programm sein, das flops gegangen ist...??

Bitte dringend um Hilfe!

passiert das in zusammenhang mit anderen anwendungen auch oder nur nach reboot?

gibts einträge im eventlog?

hast du versucht den dienst neu zu starten?

net stop winmgmt

net start winmgmt

wenn das nicht geht, eventuell mal WMI neu installieren.

edit: und nein, WMI hat nicht unmittelbar mit C++ was zu tun ... es ist ein sehr umfangreiches und gut dokumentiertes verwaltungsinstrument für alle 32-bit windows-systeme, mit dem so ziemlich alles verwaltet werden kann.
