Hallo zusammen,

ich hab ein kleines Problem mit apt-get. Ich möchte eine neue PHP Erweiterung kompilieren, die das Paket php5-dev und automake in der Version 1.6.3 benötigt. Soweit so gut. Auf meinem System ist automake 1.4 installiert, also habe ich mit apt-get install automake1.6 die neue Version installiert. Nur bringt mir der aufruf automake --version immer noch die version 1.4. Die Kompilierung der PHP erweiterung schlägt demnach auch fehl.

Gehe ich jetzt her und sage apt-get remove automake, dann entfernt er mir die Version 1.4 zwar (automake --version ist jetzt 1.6.3), aber er deinstalliert auch das Paket php5-dev.

Wie kriege ich hin, dass ich PHP5-dev und automake 1.6.3 gleichzeitig auf meinem System habe???

Installier die beiden Pakete doch per Hand!! you know, configure, make (install)...

Hast du schon mal apt-get update abgeschickt? Läuft das alles sauber durch?
