hallo,

ich habe soeben herausgefunden, dass VLAN eine Priorisierung ermöglicht.

Kennt sich jedmand damit aus?

ist eine Priorisierung z.B. in einem Firmen-LAN praktikabel?

wie erfolgt die Priorisierung?

pro Vlan-ID?

pro Paket, durch sender festgelegt?

pro MAC-Adresse?

pro IP-Adresse?

Wie gut funktioniert das ganze?

ich hätte gerne mal ein paar informationen zu dem thema

habe im internet leider wenig konkretes gefunden

QoS Mechanismen wie Priorisierung, Policing, Shaping,.. koennen auf Basis verschiedener Indikatoren angewandt werden. DSCP value, IP Precendece value, IP Adressen, MAC Adressen TCP Ports, usw...Unter anderem eben auch anhand dieses VLAN Prioritaets-Feldes.

Was heisst praktikabel? Wenn ihr genug Bandbreite, keine Probleme mit dem Load der Links und keinen sensitiven Voice/Video Traffic habt und sich das in der naechsten Zeit auch nicht aendern wird, sehe ich erstmal keine Grund fuer solch eine Implementierung. Dazu koennen wir hier aber schlecht etwas sagen.
